·        Elevated to field training officer focused on assessing police
recruits’ training needs and implementing effective training programs.  
·        Awarded the Police Department's highest service award for
Honorable and Exceptional Merit, 1995.
·        1998 - Promoted to the rank of Detective and assigned to the
Criminal Investigation Division.  Extensively investigated various
criminal incidents and over twenty homicides.
·        Identified as the Polygraphist with the Police Department after
completing training at the National Training Center of Polygraph Science.
·        Earned the honor of field training officer for newly promoted detectives
focused on assessing training needs and facilitating effective training program.
·        Assigned to Background Investigative Division, in conjunction with
standard investigative duties.  Duties included completing comprehensive
background investigations for all police applicants, including pre-offer
and post-offer polygraph examinations.
